The voice of the defenders of life

Eco-Turkey's aim is to be the voice of the defenders of nature and life in Turkey to the world:

We defend the air, water, soil, forests and all creatures of our country and the entire world of which we are a part. Biosphere: The living things that cover the earth, the sphere of life, is sacred to us. The continuity of their living spaces and living conditions; the continuity of the relationships between them, the ecological balance that is the indispensable guarantee of our existence, and the diversity of species are sacred to us.

And we are the voice to the world of those who fight against the enemies of all these values, against people, institutions, laws, and politics that destroy, injure, and threaten them.

We are the voice of the villagers, women, youth and ecology activists who set up camps and keep watch against local and foreign mining companies. The voice of those, who defend the forests, the agri cultural lands and pastures, the water and the air shielding whith their own bodies.

We are the voice of lawyers and politicians who actively participate in the fight against the introduction of anti-life laws for the benefit of ganged up companies and against the attacks of the police and military on life defenders.

We are the voice of those who defend life against companies that poison our air and fuel the climate crisis with their blind desire for profit by producing, emitting and burning fossil fuels.

And we are also the voice of politicians, scientists, lawyers and activists who speak out against those who portray nuclear energy as an alternative to fossil fuels and thus propagate the creation of new Chernobyl candidates.
