New Year's Eve in the Strike Tent


  With the 1963 Kavel
  Strike, the right to
  strike became a legal
  right for the first
  time in Turkey.
 

Despite the presidential ban decision 2024, 1500 members of United
Metal-İş celebrated New Year's Eve in strike tents on the night
of December 31, 2024 / January 1, 2025 and continued their resistance
against the employer organization MESS's imposition of low wages.
